Building a Founding Engineering Team at a DeFi Protocol

The CTO and founder at Nuffle tasked SVX.dev and Jamie Robshaw (founder of SVX.dev) with leading the hiring of a team of experienced software engineers that could operate in a fast-paced development team. The engineers will play key roles in building the first iteration of the product, an interoperable re-staking protocol.

The engineers would need to be using Rust and be familiar with smart contract development across multiple chains and ecosystems, and have the ability and drive to take ownership of large chunks of work, which includes research, PoC’s and implementation. 

A core experience that was decided upon for the engineers to be successful was to seek engineers that had either been a founding engineer, a founder or previously worked in a small engineering organization.
